About surgery

So the dreaded Medicine posting begins this monday.I would've said dreaded for any other posting anyway.
Surgery- the subject, we need to talk.
Let me tell you why: First off I wasnt even prepared for internship mentally. All I thought during my last days of mbbs was to just get through the final exams. Before results, all I wanted was to pass (surgery obviously, not hard to guess). The ten days between the day my results were out and the internship began were fully devoted to touring the government offices and the lengthy paperwork.
Next I began my internship in all new surroundings.Surgery postings.
My first ward duty was in the septic wards.I never really liked surgery and I am obviously not a fan of dressing and draping Pyoceles and Fourniers gangrenes.I hated every minute of it.
I normally take a very long time to get adjusted to new people. And as an extern in this hospital, imagine.
What I particularly hate about people who talk a lot and not work a lot is everything about them.I had the opportunity to meet such people in the first month itself. Not a good time to be bestowed upon with other's duties onto my already overburdened soul.
Now you know the background.

What I want to do different this time:
1.I'm the only intern working in the whole unit. All the work is mine.If anyone else is helping me in it, its just a favor they are doing to me.After all internship is once in a lifetime opportunity.
2. Go back to 1.
